Brooker Motor Company Album

This album was presumably created by the Brooker Motor Company of Anthony, Kansas, and includes photographs and information about the company and employees.

The main section of the album consists of testimonial letters and photographs of satisfied customers posing with their automobiles. Based on the similarity of the letters, it is likely that specific questions were asked; all but one of the letters are dated March 6, 1931, and appear to have been typed on the same typewriter.
The pages are arranged in (more or less) alphabetical order, which is duplicated in this collection.

Customers may have received a copy of their photographs, in addition to the prints included in the album.

The photographs provide insight into the daily lives of some Anthony-area residents, as well as the automobile dealership itself. In the images of individuals, families and businesses, look for details of clothing and buildings, as well as the animals who are posing with their owners.
